Economics Challenge Project-Based Learning Course
This course helps high school economics teachers prepare their students for a major Project-Based Learning (PBL) opportunity: the annual Hawai‘i State Economics Challenge (EC). It equips teachers with the essential knowledge, resources, and strategies to guide students effectively for the competition. Using this PBL framework, the course also shows how applying economic concepts in real-world contexts can boost student engagement, strengthen knowledge retention, and deepen understanding.
