The Hawai‘i Council on Economic Education (HCEE) is a statewide partnership of business, labor, and education, established in 1965 to promote and improve the teaching of economics in Hawaii's public and private schools.

Hawai‘i Teachers Economics Library

Drawing upon decades of dedicated economics education in Hawaiʻi, the Hawaiʻi Teachers Economics Library offers an online repository of Hawaiʻi-centric teaching resources and economics-related lesson plans—many of which have been created by Hawai‘i K-12 teachers. These materials are carefully designed to align with both state and national standards while emphasizing local relevance, helping teachers and students connect core economic concepts to our unique economic and cultural history.
